Si montas el WoodBlocX sobre un suelo blando, como tierra o césped, te recomendamos que forres los laterales de la jardinera de madera con nuestro material de membrana impermeable para proteger la madera. También puedes forrar el fondo si quieres, pero en ese caso debes utilizar un forro transpirable y permeable para facilitar el drenaje.
Si montas el WoodBlocX sobre un suelo duro, como pavimento u hormigón, te recomendamos revestir completamente los laterales y el fondo de la jardinera de madera con nuestro material de membrana impermeable para proteger la madera. Forrando los laterales y el fondo se creará una zona adecuada para retener la tierra. Si quieres, para facilitar el drenaje en superficies duras puedes hacer unos pequeños agujeros en la parte inferior del forro.
En ambos casos, te recomendamos que prepares en el fondo de la jardinera una capa de drenaje a base de cascotes, arena, grava o incluso materiales orgánicos, como troncos y ramas. Así también reducirás la cantidad de sustrato necesario para llenar tu estructura WoodBlocX.

Initially I completed the ‘bespoke’ form with my design and within 48 hours received detailed drawings and quote - this let me see that I may wish a few changes, so I then phoned and discussed these. All communication was excellent. We received our order very quickly, and although the idea of building it ourselves was a little daunting - we did not need to worry. Very clear instructions - step by step. Quite physical in our case as we needed to slightly flatten area first, but once the base layer was done it was fairly plain sailing and I am absolutely delighted with our new planter. The product is great and fairly simple to construct, so important to ensure level base - as building on soil this was the time consuming bit. Instructions easy to follow just wish we had read / recalled the steps about the metal plates as we did this wrong and by the time we realised it was too late to change - maybe highlight this on the diagrams of each level. We had two packs of liner but only needed one. Looking forward to filling it and growing some veg and flowers.

Since this build was a raised bed an not a pond, the amount provided will certainly line a second bed when the time comes. The material in quite easy to work, we shall see how ell it lasts as the bed is used.

Bought this to replace a similar WoodblocX retaining wall installed about 10 years ago. The old one had pretty much rotted through. I installed the new one with the protective lining and I believe this will significantly increase the life of the new wall.
Since my previous purchase WoodblocX now provide a clever little tool to take out the plastic dowels. This was great to have as I put dowels into the wrong holes far too often.

It is a strong material, but easy to flex. It is pretty easy to fit. Trimming any excess is also pretty straight forward.

The liner was adequate for the job and used on three planters . Unfortunately it was missing from the original order - the replacement was incorrectly addressed and took five days to arrive . The end product was fine but delivery left wanting .

Arrived on time the delivery driver was plesent and helpful. I did the foundation and the first two layers in an afternoon my son volunteered to help the next day, first day was rained off. It was a joy to construct . Had plenty of spares in the kit and when completed a solid construct that looks good . I am 77 and found it easy to assemble and will be looking for another project to use BlocX .

Excellent quality, did not tear when it was being pulled into place in our usual shaped bed. It's huge so we have a lot spare but I'm sure it will get used for something else. Very strong. We used it to cover the bricks after removing them from the pallet. So the bricks were covered and protected from the rain until we could build the bed.
